|Logging In and Out||Top|
|A Log In box will be displayed as you enter the site. You should Log In at this stage so that prices, previous orders, saved carts, favourites and previously purchased item lists will be displayed to match your user profile.
It is possible to browse the site and add items to your cart but you will be prompted to Log In as the first step of the check out process. When you Log In all prices in the shopping cart will be updated to pass on any discounts applicable to your user profile and previously used addresses will be available to ensure a quick checkout process.
There is a Log In button in the toolbar at the top of the screen at all times so that you can Log In at anytime during your session. When you are logged in the button will change to log out so that you can switch users during a session if required. You will be automatically logged out at the end of your browser session.
|New User Registration||Top|
|At any of the Log In screens there is a link "New Users Click Here". New users can click on this link and fill out the registration information as required. The registration process is very quick and easy and only requires a name, email address and password. Passwords can be entered in any format and number of characters, as you like. Make sure you use a password that is easy for you to remember, but not others.|
|Forgotten Your Password||Top|
|If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the link "Forgotten Your Password?" this link is also found at any of the Log In screens. You will be prompted to enter your email address and our server will email your password immediately.|
|Managing User Profile||Top|
|To edit your User Profile, you must be logged in. Then click on the button at the top of the page labeled "My Profile". This page allows you to edit your user profile details, like email address, name and password. You can also edit or delete previously used addresses to be used in the checkout process as required.|
|When you are logged in, your history is readily available by mousing over the "My Lists" tab at the top of the page. There are several lists to choose from.|
|Order History Lists||Top|
|To view your Order History list, mouse over the My Lists tab at the top of the page and click on Order History. All previously placed orders are displayed as a list with each line showing the order ID, Date, Purchase Order #, Purchase Reference and Total Value.
There are also two buttons labeled "Details" and "Preview". Clicking on the "Details" button will expand the order to show all the individual items that make up the total order including the freight. You can simply click on the shopping trolley and add an item directly into your cart. If you click on one of the items description or part number it will take you to the detailed product page were you can find out more information on this product or you can navigate from there to find similar products. The item can also be added to the cart from this page.
Clicking on the "Preview" button will display a summary of the entire order including Billing Information, Shipping information and items ordered which can be printed for your reference.
|Saved Carts List||Top|
|To view your Saved Carts list, mouse over the My Lists tab at the top of the page and click on Saved Carts. Saved carts are displayed as a list with each line showing the Date Saved, Cart Name, and Total Value.
There is also a button labeled "Details". Clicking on the "Details" button will expand the saved cart to show all the individual items that make up the saved cart. You can simply click on the shopping trolley and add an item directly into your cart.
Alternatively you can click on the button "Make this my cart", this will clear the contents of your current cart and replace it with the items and quantities as displayed in your saved cart.
Clicking on the button "Add ALL items to my cart" will add the items to those already in your current cart.
If you click on one of the items description or part number it will take you to the detailed product page where you can find out more information on this product or you can navigate from there to either find similar products. The item can also be added to the cart form this page.
You can edit a saved cart by either deleting the line item by clicking on the "X" button on the left hand side of item or updating the quantity in the input box. To save the changes click on the "save" button on the bottom left hand side.
To save a new cart, add items to your current cart, click on the "save" button at the bottom of the shopping cart summary. This will save all items in your current cart and will be stored in the "My Lists" section for later use. On saving you will be asked to give the cart a name. Your current cart will remain unchanged.
|To view your Favourites list, mouse over the My Lists tab at the top of the page and click on Favourites. Here you can create favourites lists of items you regularly purchase or may wish to purchase in the future.
To add an item to your favourites list click on the "STAR" button next to the item whilst browsing the catalogue. Items can be added to your favourites list from the products list or image view, detailed product page and the previously purchased items list. To add an item to your current shopping cart, click on the shopping trolley and the item will be added directly into your cart in the desired quantity. You can also use the "Add ALL items to my cart" button if you wish to add all items in one click.
|Previously Purchased Items List||Top|
|To view your Previously Purchased Items list, mouse over the My Lists tab at the top of the page and click on Previously Purchased Items.
This list is very similar to the saved carts and favourites list however it is automatically generated when your orders are placed. This list contains all the items you have ever purchased and is a handy tool for reordering items. You can also add items to your favourites list from here by clicking on the "Star" button next to the item you wish to add.
|Searching the Product Catalogue||Top|
|You can search for a product by Stock Code, Category/ Product Name, Description text or even a price range. To search for a product, click on the search button at the top of the page.
Enter your search criteria in the fields as required and then click the 'search' button. Either one or all of the fields can have entries and the results will be displayed with the closest match first. The results of your search will appear listed below.
|Searching the Site||Top|
|You can search the entire site for a particular text string. The search will include all documents, products, notices, reference documents, specifications etc.
To search the entire site, click on the search button at the top of the page. Enter the text string you are looking for in the Document Search box and click the 'search' button.
The results will appear as list of links below. Clicking on the link will take you directly to that page.
|Browsing the Product Catalogue||Top|
|The Product Catalogue Tree is conveniently located on the left hand side of the page at all times except for during the checkout process when it is no longer required. When fully expanded it will display every Category, Sub-Category and Product in the entire catalogue.
To browse the product catalogue simply click on the chosen category or sub category to expand or collapse it as required. Products are shown in a different colour to categories. If the category has a plus symbol next to it, it can be expanded further, simply click on the category to expand it one step. If the category has a minus symbol next to it, it is fully expanded, simply click on the category to collapse it.
When you click on a category or sub category the main area of the screen will display all sub categories and products nested directly below your selection. The sub categories are located at the top of the main screen with the products below.
To view the detailed product page of a particular product, just click on the product either in the catalogue tree or on the main screen.
|Filtering the Product Catalogue||Top|
|To filter the product catalogue, enter your filter criteria in the input box at the top of the catalogue tree and click the filter button. This will only display items in the catalogue that fulfill your filter requirement. Please note that all parent categories above your requirement will also be displayed.|
|Product List and Image Views||Top|
|When you are viewing the products the main area of the screen can be set to show the products in a list or image view. You can choose these selections from the "view" button at the top of the screen.
In each of the views an item can be added to your cart in the quantity you wish to purchase by clicking the shopping trolley or added to your favourites list by clicking on the star.
If a product is available in several options all the variations will be shown in the list view as separate line items. If multiple product variations belong to one image, then the image will only be shown once in the image view and a "more details" button will replace the "Add to cart" button, pricing will be displayed as "From $?"
|The product list and image view can be sorted by product code, description or price. You can choose these selections from the "sort" button at the top of the screen.|
|Many products in a catalogue may be similar to each other but are available in several options, like colour and size. In order to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for we have used pull down boxes, which are located near the price on the detailed product page for you to make your selection.
When an option is selected form the pull down box the image and pricing will change if required to match this option. If there is more than one option for you to choose then the succeeding options will be filtered so that only the options available can be selected.
|How Product Pricing is Displayed||Top|
|The product pricing is displayed as a list price per item as well as with volume discounts on the detailed product page. When an item is added to the shopping cart the best possible price is used dependant on the quantity ordered. The same items can be added to the cart several times, this will just increase the qty of the item in the cart and as soon as a price break is reached the cheaper price will be used.
If you have special pricing agreements, your user profile will enable all products pricing to be displayed as per your agreed rates. If an item is added to the shopping cart before logging in, it will be amended as soon as you Log In to ensure that the correct pricing is received.
|Shopping Cart Summary||Top|
|For your convenience your Shopping Cart Summary is located at the top right hand side of the page at all times. At a glance it displays the total value of all items in your shopping cart. When you mouse over the shopping cart summary it will drop down a list of all the different items and quantities, which make up your shopping cart as well as total prices. When you move you mouse away the list will disappear.|
|Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart||Top|
|Items can be added directly to your shopping cart from the either the Product List View, Image View, Detailed Product Page or any of Your Lists.
Type in the quantity you wish to add to your cart in the input box and click on the shopping trolley icon. The quantity you entered will be added to your cart instantly.
To confirm an item has been added, the Shopping Cart Summary will flash a shopping trolley icon and message "An item has been added to your cart". A list of all items in you cart will also be displayed showing the last item added in red. The rest of your screen will remain unchanged.
If you are in the image view and more selections for that particular product are required before ordering that product (e.g. size or colour), then you must click on the "more details" link and select your options before adding it to your cart. Please note that the best pricing available for the total order quantity will be applied regardless of how it is entered into your cart.
|Viewing and Editing Your Shopping Cart||Top|
|If you require a more detailed view or wish to edit your shopping cart, click on the button below the shopping cart summary labeled "View". This will show you all items in the cart including Product Code, Product Description, Unit Cost, Quantity and Total.
To delete a line item altogether click on the "X" button to the left of the product code. To change the quantity type over the number in the input box labeled Quantity. Please note that prices will be update to ensure that you receive the best price for the new quantity ordered.
Once you have made your changes if required, click on the "Return to Shopping" or "Proceed to Checkout" button.
|Clearing Your Shopping Cart||Top|
|If you wish to clear your shopping cart entirely, click on the button below the shopping cart summary labeled "Clear". This will empty all items in your cart so that you can start again.|
|Your Current Shopping Cart||Top|
|When you are logged in your current shopping cart is dynamically updated to your user profile at all times. This way you can Log In at any computer and your current cart will appear just as you left it.
However since we allow you to add items to your cart without being logged in there may be situations were you have started creating a new cart but already have a current cart stored against your user profile for update on Log In. When you Log In, you will be asked to select from one of the options to attain the result you require.
|Saving and Retrieving a Saved Shopping Cart||Top|
|To save your current cart, click on the "save" button at the bottom of the shopping cart summary. This will save all items in your current cart and will be stored in the "My Lists" section for later use. On saving you will be asked to give the cart a name. Your current cart will remain unchanged.|
|Checking Out Your Shopping Cart||Top|
|A great deal of time and effort has been spent on making the checkout process as quick, clear and simple as possible, whilst at the same time gathering all the required information to complete a successful order.
Previously entered addresses can be used from the pull down boxes. The previously used information is added automatically and can be edited or deleted in the managing user profile section.
To further assist you a brief help menu is displayed on the left hand side of the screen with a checkout status bar at the top to show the checkout process. The checkout process is made up of the following steps:
|Previously Used Address List||Top|
|Previously used addresses are selectable from pull down boxes to ensure a speedy checkout. The addresses are automatically remembered once they are used in a checkout process and can also be amended during the checkout process. If you would like to delete or permanently modify an address, this can be done in the "My Profile" section.|
|Suburbs and postcodes are checked to ensure that they are valid and matching. If they do not match an error message will be displayed. A suburb and postcode listing is available by clicking on the link next to the postcode. The list will be filtered to all suburbs similar to that entered. To enter the suburb and postcode from the list into the form, click on the appropriate postcode.|
|During the checkout process you are able to enter special instructions that you feel may be necessary to complete the order.|
|Order Number and Reference||Top|
|As an option you may enter in an order number and reference during the checkout process so that you can trace the delivery docket and invoice with your internal systems. This is an optional field.|
|Multiple Payment Options||Top|
|During the checkout process you will be asked to select the payment option you prefer. Simply fill in the details associated with that option as required. Confirmation and Instructions of payment will be provided on the order acknowledgement.
Please be assured that our system uses 128 bit Encrypted Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL) to ensure that your information is safe. Please see the Security section for more details.
|Once an order has been placed, a reference number will be displayed and there will be a printable order acknowledgment link showing all details of the order. In addition an email will be sent to you with these details for future reference.|
|When your order has been despatched, you will be sent an email so that you can anticipate delivery.|
|How Freight Rates Are Calculated||Top|
|Freight charges are based on the size, weight and delivery address of the products ordered. Several delivery methods can be selected during the checkout process. Depending on the urgency of the product you may wish to select a faster alternative. Click the check box of the delivery method you would like to use. As a default the most economical method of delivery for the products ordered will be selected.|
